Our Company History

Table 4 Decor was started in 2002 by two Rapid City business women, Audra Sayler and Cheri Santana. Each woman already ran a wedding oriented business and in order to see Table 4 Decor grow, they sold the company to Cameron Lund and Jenny Jewett Lund in November 2003. When Jenny and Cam purchased the company, it was a loose collection of brass candelabras, arches. 200 chairs and 200 sets of dishes. At the time, Table 4 Decor didn't even have tables.

For the next three years, Table 4 Decor operated out of Jenny and Cameron's two car garage and home. They set about acquiring an eclectic and useful collection of rental items including tables and linen. The showroom in Audra's Bridal Gallery was the business storefront. Eventually, it became evident that T4D needed its own space.

In July 2007 they began leasing a 900 square foot showroom and 1500 square foot warehouse at 4240 Canyon Lake Drive. Now comfortably established, T4D has already filled the warehouse with great decor items, adding new inventory monthly.

With the new warehouse came new products and tools. Some of the tools we use in house to manufacture our unique products are sewing machines, serging machines, chop saws, reciprocating saws, dremels, drills, sanders, plasma cutters, welders, styrofoam hot knives, the Cricut and airbrushes, just to name a few. We make paper, candles, soap, custom gift wrap and boxes. We cut glass, wood, metal and pretty much anything we can. We also work with an acrylic distributor and textile company that manufacture products specifically for T4D.

Our Environmental Impact - How we're trying to help...

* We wash all our products in commercial grade, minimal water use machines

* All employees recycle (both at work and at home)

* We don't sell or promote disposable party products. Rental essentially means Re-Use.

* We have begun implementing a switch to cornstarch bag products. In 2009, T4D used over 2310 yard sized plastic bags in our normal course of business. We feel this is a valuable way to clean up our business practices and a better way to contribute to the global environment.

Our Talented Staff

Owner and lead designer Jenny Jewett Lund has been crafting extraordinary events for over 15 years. At 20, she was managing high end events for 600 plus guests and the staff to go with them. Whether it was serving a 7 course plated meal from a refrigerated truck in a restricted access museum or ham sandwiches, potato chips and slaw from giant plastic bins, she has seen and done it all in the food industry. Ten years of planning and managing events for others prepared her to take the reins of her own business, Table 4 Decor. In 2009, Jenny celebrated her 6th year in business and is always pleased to be a part of the many extraordinary events her clients come up with.

Owner and part time employee Cameron Lund has been an integral behind the scenes partner in over 800 successful events - and that's just the ones at Table 4 Decor. Before buying Table 4 Decor, Cameron worked every facet of the food service and the party industry. With over 15 years experience and a few thousand party's behind him, Cameron's contribution to Table 4 Decor's clients is immeasurable. He is also a Rapid City architect and is primarily responsible for designing fabulous party spaces for our clients as well as buildings throughout the world.

Luther Bender joined Table 4 Decor again in April 2009. In the beginning, Luther was the sole employee at T4D, hauling chairs in 100 degree heat and working long hours alongside Jenny. After graduating high school, he returned to Table 4 Decor. During

Alayna Richardson joined Table 4 Decor in April 2010. Currently studying nursing at National American University, she helps out Table 4 Decor in her spare time. Her combined background in both construction and cheerleading have made her a great addition to Table 4 Decor's design team.
